I teach students with autism in grades kindergarten through 5th grade. My students spend all day in my class and we teach the different grades simultaneously. My students thrive off of routine, structure and breaking things up into smaller segments to help with frustration. We enjoy our personal sensory room to also support our needs. Recently our toy kitchen broke from an accident, the kids are asking daily where it went as it was the most used toy in our room! My students are my babies!
