My name is Amanda, I teach high school math at a school in North Carolina. This year, our district has a $50 million deficit in their budget, cutting cost for educational funding drastically. I work every day to combat my student’s fears and insecurities surrounding math. Math anxiety is real, I'm working on creating a safe space in our classroom so my students may achieve their highest potential
