I teach at a Title I school in Arkansas where most of my students come from low-income families. Many lack winter essentials or gifts for the holidays. During Christmas, the stockings I distribute through TIBAL are sometimes the only presents they receive. This initiative brings holiday joy and lets me provide new books and school supplies to help foster a love of learning.
