The Murders Before the Marathon on Hulu. This was excellent. Watched based off a @katecaseyca recommendation. 3 part docuseries about a triple murder (allegedly) committed by the Boston Marathon bombers and the failure to properly investigate those involved before the bombing. Only negative is the same negative that all true crime will have - which is that it just gives perpetrators more notoriety. Documentary is spearheaded by one of the victim's friends and some of their family participates.
Echoes on Netflix. I started this last night and it is so terrible in that very soapy way. It's truly like the Days of Our Lives writers got ahold of an early concept of Gone Girl. I will be watching again tonight. To be clear, I give this 5/10 and will make it to episode 6 by tonight.
Untold on Netflix. I wasn't expecting much from this, but it exceeded my expectations. Participation from all parties. Definitely worth watching. Full thoughts on next slides in this post. They're not spoilers, but I hate reviews that go too deep into the story before I have seen it. So skip if you're the same.
The Princess on HBO Max. Maybe I was in a weird mood when I watched this last night, but it was way too chaotic. There is no narration to pull the storyline through. I get they were trying to show her life was so over publicized they could tell the whole story with media clips, but it just ended up feeling like an aggressive art school project to me. Did not like.
