A lot of bronzers are made like they don’t trust you to use bronzer. They call it “buildable” but we all know what they’re really saying is “you’ve lost your bronzing privileges after you made Jersey Shore popular”. So most of what gets sold is the bronzing equivalent of a wine cooler. It’s weak but we all have to start somewhere. If you can show a little self restraint the Benefit Hoola bronzer is the perfect universal matte brown without being too red or muddy.
