An important tele-tie update. I have about 47 DMs telling me that tele-ties (and by extension all plastic hair ties) will go back to their original shape very quickly when heated.
THIS DOES NOT MAKE ANY KIND OF SENSE.
My rudimentary understanding of physics says molecules EXPAND when heated and CONTRACT when cooled. So shouldn’t we be throwing these in the freezer?
I tried it and heated up a hair tie and y’all were absolutely right. They shrunk back faster. I’m off to stick some forks in an outlet and try not to fall off the face of the planet because apparently science is a lie and the Earth is flat.
So. I love @tele_ties. They are apparently immune from the laws of physics and are probably the result of a tear in the space time continuum. For $10!
